Creative Arts League Endowment Fund
(CAL Endowment Fund)

The Crocker Art Museum Foundation (Foundation) is a nonprofit corporation whose purpose is “… maintenance, enhancement and expansion of the Crocker Art Museum and its services to the Sacramento community.”  It maintains a pooled investment fund from which distributions are made to the Museum.

In 1993 Creative Arts League of Sacramento established the Creative Arts League Endowment Fund (CAL Endowment Fund) with the Foundation.  Distributions from that fund are restricted to acquisitions, exhibitions and education in the field of crafts.  The Foundation also has the discretion to use a substantial portion or all of the CAL Endowment Fund to establish a gallery or exhibition room for crafts at the Museum.

Creative Arts League Education Endowment Fund
Honoring Lois and David Warren

CAL would like to establish a second endowment fund with the Foundation honoring Lois and David Warren for the significant contributions they have made to CAL over the last 30 years.  Lois was President of CAL from 1973 through 1975 and again from 1995 to 2000.  Her leadership at these crucial times was invaluable to CAL.  She also was chairman of CAL’s important “Living Treasures” exhibition at the Museum in 1985.  Although Lois was the member of CAL and held the offices, David was always heavily involved and contributed thousands of hours of work on exhibitions and fundraising for CAL.

CAL plans to raise a minimum of $25,000 to establish with the Foundation the Creative Arts League Education Endowment Fund Honoring Lois and David Warren (CAL Lois and David Warren Fund).

Contributions to the CAL Lois and David Warren Fund can be made directly to the Foundation where it will be held and accounted for as a separate fund.
